Honesty first
No fake profiles. No bot-padded online counts. No paywall tricks where you message a person who never existed. If a feature requires deceiving the user to work, we do not ship it. Period.
HighwaySoul started because three OTR drivers and one dispatcher's wife got tired of explaining home time to a swipe app. We are a small team, a real community, and a trucker dating site that runs on respect for the road.
HighwaySoul is not a traditional dating app. We are a living social layer for people who live and work in motion - a hybrid between a travel-coordination tool and a real social network. The road is not a hobby for our members. It is their job, their identity, and most weeks, it is their bedroom too.
Our mission is simple. Help CDL drivers, owner-operators, and the women who love this lifestyle find each other without pretending the schedule does not exist. That means route-aware matching, voice notes that survive a 10-hour shift, status indicators that show who is moving and who is resting, and a Co-Pilot segment of women who already self-identify as wanting a blue-collar partner.
We serve a real audience. The U.S. trucking industry employed 3.58 million professional drivers in 2024, with 8.4 million total jobs across the broader logistics ecosystem (BLS, 2024). Of those drivers, roughly 28% report chronic loneliness from time spent alone in the cab. HighwaySoul exists for them.
The idea came from a frustrated text thread in 2023. Three OTR drivers running flatbed out of Dallas and a dispatcher's wife in Little Rock were comparing notes on how badly Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge handled their lives. The pattern was always the same - match on a Tuesday, cancel a Friday date because a load went hot, get ghosted by Sunday. Two years of that, across all three apps, and not one real relationship to show for it.
So we built something else. The first version of HighwaySoul launched in early 2024 with one feature that no generic app had - a status pill that said Moving, Resting, or Available. Suddenly the women on the other side of the screen knew why messages were sporadic. The cancellations stopped feeling like rejection. The conversations got real.
"We did not set out to build a dating app. We set out to build a place where a guy hauling reefer out of Laredo could meet a woman who already knew what a home time weekend meant. The dating part happened because we got the lifestyle right first." - HighwaySoul founding team
From there we added CDL Verified badges so women could trust the driver claim, route-overlap matching so a Houston-to-Atlanta trip could turn into a meet-up in Mobile, and a Co-Pilot segment so women interested in trucker dating could self-identify instead of getting lost in a generic pool. By May 2026 the platform crossed 12,400 verified members and we are adding 400 new CDL profiles a month.
We are still small. We are still run by people who have spent a week sleeping in a cab. That is on purpose.
No mission-statement fluff. These are the actual rules we use when we decide what gets built and what gets cut.
No fake profiles. No bot-padded online counts. No paywall tricks where you message a person who never existed. If a feature requires deceiving the user to work, we do not ship it. Period.
Driving 11 hours a day is hard work. So is raising kids while your partner is on the road. We built every screen of HighwaySoul to respect both. No glitter, no gimmicks, just tools that work the first time.
We are not chasing the casual-sex market. Our members want long haul relationship dating, a Co-Pilot for the rest of the run, or a second chance after a divorce. We optimize for the marriage proposal, not the swipe.
Trucking is one of the last truly independent professions in America. We respect that. Your data is yours, your profile is yours, your conversations are yours. We do not sell to advertisers, brokers, or anyone else.
Your location is approximate. Your home address never gets shared. Your dispatcher, your boss, and your ex will never see you here. The cab is your space. The platform respects it.
We would rather grow to 100,000 real verified drivers than 10 million fake accounts. Every profile gets a human review. Every report gets read. Every scam pattern gets reported to the FTC - see our safety tips for how.
